not a specific one. as neither i did but by replying to what i wrote he gave me a glimpse of his view above religion. he discuessed with me about religion. Even if he wrote just 1 word, thats enough. so he doesn't stick to his own rules and why should i stick to the rules if the founder of this board doesn't. it makes no sense.

The things they protest against borderline on hilarity.

If i was at comic con and i saw them i would just laugh it off. It doesn't bother me and no one will listen to their protest. It's pretty much a pointless endeavour for them to make them feel good about themselves.

I wonder how long it takes until the WBC gets so protest-happy, so backwards with who they hate and so gung-ho, that they end up protesting themselves.

Say, has anyone ever thought of going across the street from WBC headquarters and protesting there?

You were a dick about it. Debasing someone else's religion isn't tolerated here, as we have a fair number of Christians. All he said was "disagree" because he doesn't want to turn this into a religious thread. YOU on the other hand, called religion stupid. Take that shit out of here, it is against the rules, kid. We get it..you don't like religion. If you wanna expand upon that, do it elsewhere.

I think it's getting to the point where being picketed by them is something to be proud of. It's not very often a sizable mob decides to ineffectually hate you and get you on the news.

They've faced down humans time and time again, but Fred Phelps and his minions from the Westboro Baptist Church were not ready for the cosplay action that awaited them today at Comic-Con. After all, who can win against a counter protest that includes robots, magical anime girls, Trekkies, Jedi and...kittens?

Unbeknownst to the dastardly fanatics of the Westboro Baptist Church, the good folks of San Diego's Comic-Con were prepared for their arrival with their own special brand of superhuman counter protesting chanting "WHAT DO WE WANT" "GAY SEX" "WHEN DO WE WANT IT" "NOW!" while brandishing ironic (and some sincere) signs. Simply stated: The eclectic assembly of nerdom's finest stood and delivered.

As you can see below, the fantastic fanboys delivered the the church a humorous dose of sweet fan justice. ComicsAlliance was there to witness the spectacle in full, which you can indulge in yourself in the link above.

sorry to break it to you bud, but syd owns the site outright. if he wants to post up pictures of dog dicks or people setting themselves on fire, he can do it. that's one of the perks of site ownership
