As I mentioned in my Vegas post, I sort of keep a "State List", a list of the states I've visited. I found a site that lets you map them, here it is: http://douweosinga.com/projects/visited?region=usa
And here's the map:
Big Important Note: - That "code to post this on your website" thing does not work properly. If you copy/paste everything before the first "{/ br} it will work fine, but if you copy/paste the whole thing, it will look silly. Trust me, I previewed it.
So let's see your state lists/maps. The state counts as visited if you set foot within it's borders, even for a second, even at an airport, even if it was as a baby. If you were inside the border and on land, count it. Flying over it, however, doesn't count.
Sorry, worldly chaps, but there's also a "world" and "India" option for you, if you're so inclined.

Maine. For about 5 minutes. My father went to the gas station because it was cheaper.
visited 25 states (50%)
Create your own visited map of The United States
The middle is always the best.
I plan on taking a trip to the Northeast sometime in the future, however it will be a while. The Westcoast does not offer me anything though.

Also, that site fails since you can't select Yugoslavia.

You also can't select the Soviet Union, Prussia, Zanzibar, or any other nation that doesn't exist anymore.
I'm impressed it's got Montenegro, personally.

Well whatever...if you look at the Europe map, you cannot select all the countries. The area that WAS Yugoslavia is not selectable.

My family and I drove cross country, coast to coast, back when I was in Junior High but that was so long ago, I'd never accurately remember exactly which states we visited.

OCD kicking in and telling me that Washington and Oregon are necessary for symmetry!
Some of you guys are very well traveled. I have tended to remain on the east coast. I took a trip to Utah for skiing, Cali for San Diego, and Indiana for my grandma. Other than that, I just live it up on 95.

How is it possible that a lot of you have traveled to a state and not any state touching it? How did you get there? Did you just teleport?

Flew into Florida, transfer at Washington DC and then onto New York.
