Many people seem to think my name comes from my dog, but it actually has its roots on my very first cat. It's a very long story and I'd rather not dwell or go through it again.

Hawaii grows plenty of pineapples and I happen to love eating them.

There was this assignment in high school that consisted of writing and presenting a paper about an influential person in history that shared your name (first, last, or both). I chose Bloody Nicholas from the Romanov dynasty. It was neat to pick someone not American and also considered a generally incompetent ruler of Russia. "Bloody Nicholas" just didn't sound right as a username, so I used "romanov". I put "holy" on it because he was canonized 60 years after his death.
The more you know!

Mate called me a Rake once in reference to being thin, which thanks to the dominance of alcoholism and drinking in Australian culture coupled with my somewhat misplaced patriotism, I no longer am. Used to play alot of fingerpicking acoustic too, with nails rather than those gay finger-hook-picks, so my right hand was like a fucken claw. Name stuck and its how most of my mates know me so I figured using the name here would make at least some kind of sense.

Back when I first got my N64, I bought it used with Bomberman Hero and Zelda OOT. There was a saved game on OOT named Hexen, which had completed the game. I accidentally deleted it, and made a game called Hexen II in the same file. Ever since then, I've been using either Hexen or Hexen followed by a roman numeral as my name online and in games,
My newer web moniker is Professor Layton, which I almost used, but decided not to because under that name I play the role of a British gentleman who shovels disguising British food into his mouth every second (eel pie, blood pudding, etc.) and murders any one who can't solve his puzzles sadistically. I wouldn't break character and would most likely be swiftly banned.
I also though of naming myself Archduke Fifi Le Yip-Yap, but no one would get the reference.

I hate to get off topic here, but you did first, so you'll take the majority of the hit
It's from a Betty Boop cartoon called The Old Man of the Mountain. In the cartoon, the old man is a straight u rapist, which is why he is following Betty licking his thumbs. I like the episode so much, I made that GIF.
Watch it, it is required. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoJkxNa6v14

Did you ever play Hexen though?
I loved that game, but never had the patience to finish it when I was younger. I only recently re-played it during a dry spell of current era gaming. Fucken love it.

Hexen is also the name of two pretty sweet thrash metal bands. Just though I'd throw that out there.

I picked an obscure and badass Decepticon as my handle
A repaint and slight remold of Scorponok who was badass on his own, but looked even better in black gold and red with a new helmet and giant spear. Unfortunately, the odds of me ever owning one is extremely unlikely as any that turn up go for hundreds of dollars and as a double whammy, the gold plastic used became super brittle over the years so that even boxed samples may crumble when handled.

I stole mine from Doctor Who, he flies the TARDIS, and the Doctor happens to be a man... TARDISman, occasionally throw an 85 on there since I like the NES.

Hmmm, well, on the IRC i better known as: Sapphire_Rose, Turquoise_Narcissus, Emerald_Lily, Bai_Hu, or just Saph.
Those names in were created because
1) Sapphire_Rose: I have an obsession for sapphires and roses, I like the coloration of the gem and the I like the flower, I put the two together and got a name, simple as that. Saph is the shortened version
2) Turquoise_Narcissus and Emerald_Lily: I decided on continuing my theme of gems and flowers 'cept this time going by the representation of the birth months of my girlfriend/fiancé and my own.
3) Bai_Hu: Chinese constellation White Tiger, represents the season of autumn, usually I use this if I'm feeling blah cause autumn is my least favorite season of the year.
4) KyriosExousia: It sounds cool to say, look at, and spell. The words together are supposed to mean God's Authority, which is something I do not believe, I also dislike the concept of both things seperately, so the point and purpose of this name the counterpoint to mean Humanity's Freedom, just to explain.
yes i have a bit of time on my hands, yes i prolly have better things to do, but oh well.
