Sure it does. Tacking random numbers at the end of your username indicates lack of creativity.

It's not always bad, though. Sometimes it's an improvement if you've got the name/number going on, like Ultron or Braniac. Eh, eh?

Who likes role-playing games? Me. Way too goddamn much.

Plus, nobody can be sure how old he is anymore. Memory means nothing.

I think there are at least 5 or 6 1984 babies here, including me. We rule, and stuff.

Actually I'm an 86' baby. 84 was my football number.

YES! It's all about '86. Think of all the great things:

- Challenger
- Chernobyl
- Iran-Contra
- Rock Me Amadeus
- Bears whoop the Patriots 46-10 (ha!)
- Halley's Comet
- My Birth

RIP Hacker.

You bastards make me feel so old. I was born when Star Wars came out. And in terms of baseball I remember watching the Orioles win the World Series. That isn't happening again any time soon.

I'm supposed to be Excel-2010 and change every November. It was part of my old practice of changing my e-mail address every year to avoid spam. But now that I get one spam about once every three years, it's now just tradition. I use this name when I can't easily change names.

Growing up in central CT, I was in the middle of the Yankees/Redsox battlefield. I chose to root for the Mets. I was frigg'n psyched when they won it all in '86. HoJo was the shit.

Of course as I got older I realized that the Mets were simply there as a distraction for New Englander's who didn't want to be in the middle of a huge sports rivalry.

I didn't really care for any baseball team from about 1992-2002. I was into hockey at the time and baseball was just too slow. In 2003 though, I moved to Boston and finally gave in. I had a home team, so I rooted for them.

The mere mention of Bill Buckner in 2003 after the Sox lost to the Yanks was enough to send some into a violent rage, while others would just mentally break down.

In 2004, when they finally won the World Series, I was under the impression that all past mishaps were partially forgotten, and in 2007 the slate was clean and Buckner was finally forgiven.

Your impression is wrong. Buckner will never be forgiven. Maybe he's forgiven by the bandwagon jumpers, but not the long-time fans.

Gah, god damn Buckner.

Gah, god damn Buckner.

GP's pretty right, though I sort of noticed it a while ago. I don't think Buckner was ever really hated, just part of the damn curse.

And Ermac....not cool.
