Are there any good sports games on Wii? I have Tiger Woods and I like that, but I've always enjoyed Madden and MLB games and I've heard they are crap on the Wii.
In particular, can anyone in here suggest an MLB game? The idea of using the motion controls to swing sounds fun, but I have yet to hear about any good baseball games. Granted, I haven't spent that much time looking, and figured this would be a good spot to ask.
And if this has already been discussed in this forum, my apologies up front. I didn't see it when scanning the past pages. If there is you can direct me to that.

The best sports game on the Wii is Wii Bowling, everyone knows that!

NBA Jam will be coming out for wiiware in the near future. im looking forward to that even though the shooting mechanic seems rather annoying.

NBA Jam will be the greatest thing ever. I do not own a Wii, but I am thinking of getting one just to experience some boomshakalaka (among other good games on the system)

Not a "real" sports game, but Strikers Charged is really fun. And this is from someone who didn't care for the first Strikers.
Tiger Woods 09, the one with Wii Motion Plus, was great.

I'm not a Wii Sports fan. It's cool when you first open up the Wii because "Wow, when I move the control my dude swings!" but then you realize that games fairly shallow.
Yeah, I have TW 2010 and the MotionPlus and I do enjoy that. I will look into Strikers, and NBA Jam. I remember blowing quite a few quarters on that game in the arcade 15 years ago.

Look into MLB Power Pros. I've never played the Wii version, but on DS it's a fun, albeit arcadey baseball game. The series is pretty huge in Japan and the story and RPG modes sound cool.
