Students campaign to make Admiral Ackbar their new school mascot.

So the University of Mississippi's mascot Johnny Reb was deemed offensive and the school got rid of him. A search for a new mascot is on, and students are now campaigning to make Admiral Ackbar that mascot. Classic.

It's funny. Growing up I had so much Star Wars crap that it was immpossible for my parents not to trip over them going down the stairs and my Dad was constantly pulling some poor bastard out of the lawn mower. Admiral Ackbar is the only action figure that made it to this point. I still have him on my dresser.

* In 2010, never say never to pipe dreams.
