Anyone know how to do this? I'm trying with my sister's laptop, but I've never used Vista before and I'm getting pissed off.

Well, apparently the Ethernet port on my sister's laptop is broken, which was the problem. I'll have to see if I can borrow Jeebus's.

He's saying that I should ruin my house so I can have the XBox directly connected to the router.

Haha My dad cut a hole in my floor and ran wires all the way down to my basement to connect it to the router. No way was he gonna let me pay $100 for something he could do himself.

Nod
I did it too. Obviously I was only joking, this application wouldn't apply to most people due to house destruction. I can't believe they still sell that thing for $100 bucks.

Yeah, $100 worth of property damage is clearly the better deal.

well depending on where your router is located, it probably isn't a hundred dollars to drill a hole, realistically.

Depends how thick your floors/walls are, and it only really matters if you ever plan on selling it.

I really don't think a hole the size of a dime that is on the bottom of the wall by the floor is going to lower the cost of your house.

No, but you'd probably fix it before showing the house.

It's much simpler to just connect your laptop if you have one to the 360. I do it all the time.
Well, I DID when I played my 360.

All you have to do is bridge connections. It takes like 5 seconds.

haha, years from now it's going to be one of those nifty nostalgia things, like the X-band or the gamecube braodband adapter.
