They should certainly phone up Capcom on this one.
"We want Haggar to be able to beat the shit out of Pikachu."
"SOLD!"

Haggar was pretty cool...I love the Final Fight series
Although I always found it wierd how Mighty Final Fight on the NES was a "sequel" to Final Fight. Even though MFF is "cute", I always liked it more since it reminded me of River City Ransom

What would his final smash be? Suicide?

The robot suit from Wolfenstein 3-D, obviously.
That or his fireball-shooting acolyte clones would appear and rain down fireballs upon the screen.

If we're delving into Wolfenstein, then I suggest the best game in the series: Wolfenstein ET.
Who should be in Smash Bros? Why, the sexy Axis Medic, of course!

Seriously, I'm actually kind of surprised that nobody suggested any of these (unless I just missed it):
1. Kickle Cubicle- That's right. That motherfucker would freeze you solid and then, uh, kick you into someone else. I don't know, I just know I got addicted to the game when I got it for NES. Also, did anyone else notice how badass the graphics were for 8-Bit?
2. Steve Hermann- From Shatterhand. Fists as strong as piledrivers. 'Nuff said.
3. Ken- Street Fighter 2010. Lots of agility and could pull off some crazy moves. Again, just saying...
4. Cao Cao- Romance of the Three Kingdoms/Dynasty Warriors. I don't know why, it was just kind of free association here.
5. Conker- Bad Fur Day, urinating on enemies, getting smashed and wobbling all over the place, making delightful non sequiturs. Is there more that you want? I don't think you can have it.

Ahhh, now I remember who I'd been wanting to be in Smash Bros for a while. Last year I even imagined a moveset for him during a long walk to school.
Quote, from cave story:
Up+b (Triple jump) could be the Booster 1.0
Down+B... Dunno?
Left B and Right B can change weapons (You can use the Spur, Missiles, Fireballs and Daggers) and you shoot with B, although this could use some work and have a much better attack system in place...
The shield is the bubble thingy you get from curly
Final smash, you summon Curly and Balrog. Curly hangs to your back and uses the Nemesis, Quote uses the Bubbler (Although a pretty fucking powerful version of it) and balrog could... dunno...
The taunt could be Quote having a question mark pop above his head.

I was going to mention him. But even though I gave free reign within characters, I figured he wouldn't work because of his mature behavior, and I'd want to keep the game as Teen.
On a side note, Conker's Bad Fur Day was a GREAT game. The only thing I hated was escaping Normandy, which was more difficult than the actual Battle of Normandy. I wish Rare was with Nintendo and produce another Conker's game.

No kidding! I was a keyholder at Babbages (now Gamestop) in the Exton Square Mall in PA when Conkers came out for the N64. We got a promo box one of the days I was opening and it came with a t-shirt, a gold cartridge copy of the game, a little bottle of pills that were actually like Good N' Plenty candies, and a display box for the game. Needless to say, only the display box ever found it's way to the actual store. Near the end of my time with old Babbages, I also found myself the owner of five newly released PS2s, but that's still not as good as my buddy's pallet of Dreamcasts from Toys R' Us. Memories...

Was that Ken Masters from the Street Fighter universe? I've always assumed it was because of the name of the game, and Capcom made both, but all I've found online in my limited searching is conflicting arguments. Either way, I loved that game when I was younger and it's something I've always wondered.

Prince Alexander from King's Quest. He'd pull out his magic map and teleport, and throw all of the stupid crap in his pockets at you.

Okay, this thread is getting out of hand.
Why limit ourselves to just video games? In fact, let's just add Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, YHWH, Abraham Lincoln, that guy from the convenience store down the street and Death from Discworld.

I'd rather have King Graham from King's Quest V, while the owl tells me not to do something...AS I'M ALREADY DYING.
Every time you get "smashed", the narrator comes over and delivers a silly pun.

Final smash is picking your nose with a lockpick and dying.

You guys keep talking about all sorts of stuff being the Smash Bros., but what about the obscure and forgotten Nintendo characters?
Mike and Lip aside, there are plenty of more characters that should be used:
Anubis from Battle Clash and Metal Kombat
Takamaru from Nazo no Murasamejō
The rest of the characters from Panel de Pon
Tatanga from Super Mario Land
Tamagon from Devil World
John Raimi from Geist
Donbe and Hikari from Shin Onigashima
Wart from Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic/Super Mario Bros. 2
And those are just a few. . .

I'm all for Wart and Tatanga
I actually wish they'd put them in Mario Kart, since you wouldn't have to really put in detail into their character.
