Figured we might as well do another list, this time for the PSOne.
1. Final Fantasy IX
2. Resident Evil 2
3. Twisted Metal 2
4. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
5. Silent Hill
6. Crash Bandicoot
7. Mega Man X4
8. Final Fantasy VII
9. Oddworld
10. Destruction Derby 2
I try to stick to one game per series otherwise the list would mostly consist of FF and RE. |

This is a difficult one for me, as i did not really play the psone alot when it first came out, but i will give it a try
1. Metal Gear Solid
2. Final Fantasy VII
3. In Cold Blood
4. Tomb Raider
5. Chrono Cross
6. Castlevania SOTN
7. Xenogears
8. Final Fantasy VII
9. Silent Hill
10. Resident Evil: Directors Cut
Looking at my own collection, i actually dont have all this games, but i do have Final Fantasy VI (which was never released for the snes here in europe, however, i picked it in the snes topic, so wont pick it again), and an awesome double disc called Final Fantasy Chronicles including Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV, first time both of those were released here as well. I would of course have chosen that one if I did not counted those SNES-games. |

Here's mine, in no particular order:
Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero
Difficult, yet fun game. Different take on Mortal Kombat gameplay. Also, awesome, movie-style cutscenes are awesome
Street Fighter EX2 Plus
I know SF fans downplay the EX series, but this one is great. It's hella fun to play, and has one of the best soundtracks of the Street Fighter series
Guilty Gear
Seriously, NOBODY mentioned Guilty Gear? Speed metal, fast gameplay, and awesomely weird characters, for the win!
Chrono Cross
Another game I wonder why nobody mentioned. Great soundtrack, wonderful story, and incredible graphics (...for the PSX, anyway)
Silent Hill
...Well, this one goes without saying, really. A great start to a freaky series
Resident Evil: Director's Cut
*See Above*
Chrono Trigger
I know this is basically the SNES version with awesome anime cutscenes, but the game is still great, dammit!
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
Before the port of the arcade version on the XBOX 360, this was the only way to play the game at home (...Legally, anyway). And it's great. Colorful graphics, and simply addictive gameplay. It's a great way to introduce puzzle games to fans of Fighting games. Good luck getting a copy of this game: Most stores consider this a rare collectable, and sell it for $60 at the lowest (And usually higher)
Mortal Kombat Trilogy
Although I never got the "Aggressor" aspect of the game, this game was awesome. Basically, it's aspects from the first three Mortal Kombat games, all in one disc. Gameplay is the same as Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. So in short, it's good
Parasite Eve
Why did Square Enix do nothing with this game besides the two titles for the Playstation? The gameplay in this game was a new way to play RPG's. And the story was pretty cool, too |

| I thought about listing Chrono Cross but I just never finished it. I hope they'll do a rerelease one of these days. The graphics were great. Prerendered backgrounds FTW. |
I still am holding out hope that they will someday do a re-release for this. |
