As a gamer I normally go for Full Throttles for my all night summer gaming sessions.
Now I am starting to enjoy beer after being a light drinker for most of my post 21 life.

Bud American Ale is my new fav beer, its like a cheaper smoother Sam Adams.

Chimay Rouge/Chimay Bleu: Brewed by Belgian monks, fucking awesome
Shiner Bock: Smooth is the only way to describe it
Rogue "Deadguy" Hoppy, distinguishable dark ale
Three Floyds "Pride & Joy": Clean, very refreshing not at all hoppy
Guinness: My go to beer, filling, like a ham sanwich in a glass would be if ham sandwich was a Guinness
Boddington's Pub Ale: Mild Ale, pours like Guinness, unique taste
Goose Island "Matilda" 7% ABV, sure doesn't taste it
Goose Island "312 Urban Wheat" Local Favorite from a local brewery, kind of tastes like Blue Moon, but isn't as hazy.[/img]

Only ever had Moosehead and Bud, both as a kid. Liked neither. Not much of a drinker tbh.

				1. Boreale: I've only found this in Montreal, but I swear I could drink it by the gallon. The best I've ever tasted.
 2. Victory Hop Devil Ale: A great beer when you know your going on an all night bender. The hangover's are the worst.

 3. Molson Canadian: My old standby. This is preferred while watching hockey or listening to music.

I think my favorite is John Smith's Extra Smooth, but they don't sell it in the states. Which makes me that asshole beer snob that likes to talk about beers YOU can't get. But it's an amber colored ale that's not carbonated, pours like a Guinness or Boddington's. It's probably been built up in my mind though, seeing as how it usually ended up getting me trashed, and I haven't had it since I was in London 4 and a half years ago...

Of the beers you can get in the states...

1. Franziskaner Hefeweizen

2. Guinness

3. Boulevard Wheat

4. Blue Moon

Honorable Mention as a cheap beer for pitchers during volleyball games or watching soccer, Miller Light.

I'm not into beer at all, and subsequently don't have a favorite. If a host offers me beer, I'll drink whatever they're offering, but at a bar, I generally prefer martinis, rum and Cokes, or frozen margaritas.

I can't do energy drinks like Rockstar or Redbull + Vodka's. Mixing stimulants with depressents just sounds like a stroke waiting to happen, LOL

And of course, I gotta represent the family name and go with Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale. On that note, here's a pic of the tattoo I got 3 days ago:

Agree with username on the tattooo and some beer choices.
I love Tecate and most Mexican beer in general, I'm a fan of Coors light and their products though, especially Blue Moon (with orange slices!)

I love beer and would drink it anyday over liquor, most liquors fuck me up too hard, although I do like whiskey.

This thread makes me wanna drink beer............ >_>

Hmm, I usually go back and forth when it comes to beer, but I would say the kinds I buy most frequently are definitely Newcastle Brown Ale, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and Rolling Rock.

PBR! My favorite shithole bar has 1.50 cans of PBR, it's faaaantastic.
All things considered though, what I usually want most is a Maker's Mark manhattan. Or three.

PBR is Richmond's official beer.

I think we should have a "things that piss you off beer edition". I'm kidding.
But seriously, all the rednecks around here drink coors light and when I come out of the store carrying Yuengling or something just as potent I get told that I need to quit drinking "hippy" beer and drink real beer like coors light.

 Seriously.

I could drink 7 coors light and just have dry mouth, as opposed to drinking 7 real beers and get a sweet buzz goin'. It's not an opinion, it's about alcohol content. I don't want to drink something that tastes bad AND I have to drink more of it to get drunk. That's silly.

 Just sayin'.

Hahahaha, hippy beer?? Yuengling is the oldest American brewery, not so much hippy associated. People around where you live are crazy Josh.

Please, don't get me wrong, I love Yuengling but Coors Light is so smooth and easy going down. It doesn't taste bad, you must be thinking of Miller products.
Anyways, the alcohol content of Coors light is 4.2 while Yuengling is about 4.4, the difference is essentially negligible. 7 Coors Lights should still get you around as buzzed as 7 Yuenglings.

Yeah, uh... Coors Light sucks. I agree with you on the Yuengling though.
I don't play favorites. I drink mostly original Coors, Miller High Life, Bud (including Light), Foster's, and Dos Equis (sometimes.) But I'll try anything I haven't tried.

I hate Guinness (not into dark beers) Milwaukee's Best, Natural Light, and Corona.

I love Coors original as well, but how can you say that the "Light" variation sucks?
I like getting drunk off Yuengling and Newcastle as much as the next guy, but the heavier beers have a tendency to fill me up much quicker, therefore I cannot really drink way to much. However, I could drink light beer forever.

This is so true. I tend to enjoy a light buzz rather than being drunk so the heavier beers are more for me with a meal. I like their taste a lot more. I feel like I have to pee non stop all the time if I drink light beer to get drunk. If I get drunk off Vodka I feel 100% fine when it is all done and don't feel bloated or like I have to pee all the time. I think as a smaller person this is probably specific to body type.

I'm a bit of a beer snob in that I prefer microbrews, but some of my faves are:
 1) Dogfish Head Red & White - they only sell it in February/March every year. It's a Belgian white brewed in red wine casks. So good.
 2) Sam Adams Summer/Cherry Wheat - my two favorite Sams, though you can't go wrong with most of their offerings.
 3) Blue Moon - just a really well-made Belgian white.
 4) Wachusett Blueberry - a local brew with some seriously good flavor. Not too light but has a hint of real blueberry flavor
 5) Sam Smith's Oatmeal Stout - dinner in a bottle and phenomenal to boot
 6) Pretty Things Baby Tree - another local brew; a quad brewed with dried plums. So good.
