Was the 1987 TMNT series on the list?

I hope its not too high because i recently went back and watched the first season and realized it was better through the eyes of a child.

I concur. Looking back, the video games were the best part of the franchise back then. Also, why do they keep calling it the 1987 series? I thought it premiered in '84.

The original Eastman and Laird TMNT comics premiered in '84, so '87 seems like a reasonable starting point for the cartoon.

TMNT was 55 on the list.

Oh geez....51 is Death Note. How did that even get on the list? I know their would be a few animes in there, but I didn't think that they were so desperate as to choose that one...

Is that sarcasm? I really can't tell, oh well...

It's a decent list, however I agree that the first fifty seemed to be placed at random. However since lists are opinion-based I really shouldn't complain. It isn't like this list speaks for everyone out there.

How much crack do you smoke on a weekly basis? Death Note is far and away one of the best animes ever created. It doesnt fit the retro themed cartoons spawned from the 80's but if they include any anime they would be retarted not to include such an awesome series.

To each their own. I'm sure other people liked it. It's not like the list is the definitive list for everyone out there. Having a difference of opinion is part of life. Smile

I am another who wasn't a huge fan of Death Note. I understand why people like it, but it just isn't for me.
