Lets go back in time to just a few weeks ago.

Syd asked Jeebers to make a new Navbar. Jeebers stole Syd's. Syd told him not to. Jeebers went on vacation. Syd requested that GPFontaine make it work.

GPFontaine decided that it would be dead wrong to alter Jeebus's pages. Instead he put a redirect to new pages instead. This way the old code isn't lost and Jeebus can't be upset that he lost anything (because he didn't).

Eventually my guess is that the page will be all be in the new format and this little "glitch" will go away. But that can't happen until Jeebus and I take some time and go over the site's design.

GP, wanna get rid of the redirect? It really bothers me and I was actually gonna PM you about it. I still have the index.htm file on my harddrive so nothing will be lost. the new format is fine for now and we can go over a permanent solution later, but not having it flicker like that would be much preferred

I like the old design better.....Is it because I fear change or that I find the Maddox scheme familiar? You decide.

Personally, I think it's "A little from column A, a little from column B."

I renamed the file from index.htm to index.htm.old

As long as someone goes directly to http://dr.jeebus.sydlexia.com they will be directed to the index.php file and all will be flicker free.

I dunno about the main page, but the article design could use a little more polish. Both Haddox and Maddox use text color and numbers or bullet points to help spruce up lists so that it doesn't feel like you're reading a wall of text.

ideally the lists would all have images and such, but time doesn't always allow it.

Drive down to CT. I'll find one for you.

How about a P4?

I might be able to swing a 2.x GHz with like 512MB ram and WinXP.

Sure, I'll just drive down to CT like it's nothing. BTW, my car died yesterday and I had to push it about a quarter of a mile by myself, although I have to say I have it's a fucking sweet parking job.

Of course, I have a car to use for the time being, but I don't think I'll be driving down there in the immediate future. And I don't care what the computer is, antyhing besides this would be good. I mean, ideally I'd like a computer that will be able to run Diablo 3, but that's pushing it, lol.

You expecting a tax return? Maybe just wait a couple weeks and build one from scratch.

Yeah, I'll get a sizable tax return just in time to start paying off my $130,000 in college lones.

And Douche, I'm looking for free, as GP had said he'd send me one for free if I paid the shipping (But that's a pretty hefty cost for a computer, even at parcel post.

Well... sometimes I make my way into your neck of the woods. Perhaps on my next Boston adventure I can drop it off for you.

The next time we would go up would probably be to visit my cousin who lives in Framingham... maybe sometime in the next 3-5 months or so.
