Whoa, damn. There's a guy whose name I didn't know, but work I loved.
When he did the trailer VO for MGS4 he asked Ryan Payton to send him the game when it was done. Apparently he was a gamer and owned all the systems. I would have never think that about him.

Aww man, Jerry Reed was awesome .
I generally despise country music but I could make an exception for him. And I thought he did a great job in the movies I've seen him in.

Was Jerry Reed the coach for the opposing team in Waterboy?

Evan Tanner was believed to be found dead in the Palo Verde mountain area, 60 miles northeast of Brawley, CA. He was 37. He was a former UFC Middleweight champion.

The classic lineup was Wright, Gilmour, Mason, and/or Waters though. Syd Barrett hadn't been in the band since like 1968.
This sucks.

Its only classic to some. Fans of the more arena rock oriented, or 70's and 80's, Pink Floyd don't appreciate Syd Barrett all too much, but fans of Psychedelia and "head rock" consider Syd Barrett to be one of the greatest musicians of all time.

Look, I love Syd Barrett, but the guy only recorded 1.5 albums with Pink Floyd. This isn't like the post-Gabriel Genesis or post-Roth Van Halen arguments, because the scope and output of pre-Gilmour Floyd is so incredibly limited. Like it or not, Pink Floyd is defined entirely by the Gilmour/Waters/Mason/Wright line-up.
And Barrett was never going to rejoin Floyd. Ever. His latter day mental capacity was questionable at best, and he had no interest in so much as talking about Pink Floyd. His former bandmates were even barred from his funeral per his wishes.
Also, what crack are you smoking where post-Barrett Floyd constitutes "arena rock"? With the exception of 1987's Momentary Lapse of Reason, the track "In The Flesh" from The Wall, and the track "Not Now John" from The Final Cut, nothing Pink Floyd did could be considered arena rock. And "Not Now John" and "In The Flesh" were making fun of arena rock.
