New Daft Punk song! Yeah! oh... i apologize. FUCK YER!!

This song is also pretty hilarous on the misheard lyrics side. It sounds like they sing "we rob a mexican, funky! we rob a mexican, lucky!"

it was the best of times
it was the blurst of times

As recommended to me by a hometown friend, I present a rather nice piece of metal.

Cult of Luna - Vertikal, 2013, Metal - I: The Weapon

...As well as one of my own favorites. Let me give you the picture of what's going on.

DJ Shadow - Live! In Tune and On Time, 2004, Hip-Hop - Lost and Found

Seeing as I just changed over to a new album from my list, I'm listening to a song off of it. This is probably the most fun song ever written about serial killing

"Spanish bombs, yot' quierro y finito
Yo te querda oh ma corazón
Oh ma corazón, oh ma corazón" - The Clash, Spanish Bombs

I'm currently "studying" The Who. While listening to the not so good It's Hard album I found what has to be one of my favorite songs by them.

"In the first one," said Davis, "when shitty things are happening it's a lot scarier because you didn't know if Neo was The One or what these machines were up to. In the other two you already knew he was The One, so the dissonant stuff didn't quite fit anymore."

Quote:
The music for Agent Smith spreads, as he does, like a virus. (Davis pointed out the irony of this in light of Smith's monologue directed at Morpheus in The Matrix about humanity's viral nature—"a lot of the Wachowskis' ideas have to do with becoming what you hate," the composer said.

Right now, I'm listening to Chvrches' debut album, The Bones Of What You Believe on NPR. I have been eagerly anticipating this album for months, literally months, and NPR decides to be all awesome and let people listen to the album in its entirety for free. Not only that, but the album doesn't even come out until the 24th, so getting to listen to it a week early is pretty damn awesome. You can listen to it at: http://www.npr.org/2013/09/15/221714011/first-listen-chvrches-the-bones-of-what-you-believe

So far, it's a fantastic album. While they're already fairly popular, and deservedly so, I think they're going to get much bigger. They're the next big thing in Pop and Electronic Music as far as I'm concerned. If their talent gets them rewarded like I think it will, they're going to be huge and dominate the Pop charts.

The album was amazing, especially considering the fact that it's their debut. Definitely worth the listen. It makes me exited for future Chvrches albums.

Been listening to Franz Ferdinand's new album. I really like it, sounds like pre-tonight stuff.

Also the new lady gaga single.

I have been mostly listening to Men Without Hats 2012 album "Love in the Age of War".

I love that it sounds like it was recorded the day after "Safety Dance" became a hit.

I've always loved post-punk, but I got a lot deeper into This Heat since my wife bought me a six-cd boxed set for Christmas. It's very experimental, especially Deceit, but some of this stuff... it sounds what music should be like now.

Who likes role-playing games? Me. Way too goddamn much.

Glamour Profession, by Steely Dan in their 1980 Gaucho album. Jazz rock. Beautiful mix of guitar, horns, piano. Hollywood vibes, high class luxuries, and some illegal fun under the sun, boys. Easily decipherable lyrics compared to most other material. Living hard will take its toll...

I actually like the new U2 album 'Songs of Innocence'. You know, the one they automatically threw into everyone's iTunes library? But seriously, it's a good pop/rock album. Yay!

That Muppet NIN cover is great. The only thing that might top that is maybe:

=)

Also, I'm glad Beck won the Grammy over Beyoncé, take that Kanye West, you ass...

Despite Beck's background with Scientology, he is still extremely talented and I have been a long time fan of his music.

If this isn't a slice of pure pop-rock perfection, I don't know what is.

Demon Fuzz - Disillusioned Man

I found the band by accident. They sound pretty good!
