So who else is hyped as fuck for the new Dragon Ball series coming out? A new DB series, actually created by Akira Toriyama, and unlike GT, is actually Canon (even though I liked GT)? Count me in! The only disappointment is that there's so little information for an anime (and manga) coming out in a month. But, perhaps that's for the best, so we don't have everything spoiled for us before the show airs. Anyway, I can't wait until this comes out stateside.

Two new characters announced. It's unclear what role they'll play, though since they look similar to Beerus and Whis, it can be assumed that they will have similar god/servant roles.

So, the fat Beerus looking dude is officially named Shanpa. Also, Goku gets a job and Goten and Trunks look for a wedding present for Videl.

I saw the first episode. It was great. Not a whole lot of action, but it was just setting the story up, plus it was nice to see that this episode focused more on Dragon Ball style comedy rather than over the top DBZ fight scenes, though I definitely hope to see those too (which we will). Also, never seen the new movies, but Beerus is not to be fucked with. SPOILER: He destroys half a planet simply by tapping his finger on a table. Yes, characters have destroyed entire planets before, but that was with ki blasts.
