Long story short, Sony will still distribute Spider-Man and own the film rights, but Marvel Studios has creative control and any Spider-Man film will be produced by Amy Pascal and Kevin Fiege.

about time. we will finally get some good spider man movies. hopefully they do bring back JK Simmons as JJJ
