This month is the annual 30 man* pro wrestling event. I watch very few wrestling ppvs but I always find a way to watch the Rumble. Wrestling Fans and non, come together and talk about your favorite stories of grown men beating each other. If there is enough interest we can set up a lottery to assign "numbers" to posters to give them someone to root for.

Here is the last years match. Thankfully the rumble matches are easy enough to find so if this gets pulled several other are probably available.

Well, being the enormous and unapologetic HBK mark I am, my single favorite will always be RR '95. First man to enter #1 and win.

I did enjoy, what was it, I think like '07/'08, when he kicked Jericho out of the ring, then almost immediately got kicked out himself. The RR is always a great time. I also love the buildup to it, with everyone jockeying for the #30 spot. So much fun. Very Happy (Hah, that reminds me, in the aforementioned RR of '07 or '08, when Jericho won the right to choose his number, and he picked #1 just to try and show up Shawn. Ahhhh good times. Wrestling was fun then.)

Sigh. Only time in my life the words, "god I wish I was Pamela Anderson" have ever crossed my mind.

And then she wasted it by hanging out with Diesel at Wrestlemania instead. Idiot.

That is the strangest adbot post I have ever seen. What an amazing Segway from Pro Wrestling to Pakistani Suits.

It's like the two were made for each other.

If it was Saudi Arabian suits, it would be even more fitting due to WWE's deal with them.

The Rumble and the KOTR were always the two "must watch" PPVs when I was younger. Unfortunately, KOTR was always treated as a joke usually given to an undercard guy with no intention of pushing them. Meanwhile the Rumble winner got a shot at Mania.

The annoying thing to me was a tournament is ideally more difficult to win than a battle royal over the top challenge. So what does WWE do? They have a heel win KOTR and literally become a king gimmick. And the Rumble winner almost always has an anticlimactic finish where the wrong guy wins.
