coachella has their roster out this year. hopefully i can go, but i have so many fines to pay im not sure i'll be able to make it.

The Pains of Being Pure At Heart
The Drums

Saturday
Animal Collective
The Kills
Broken Social Scene

Sunday
HEALTH
Death From Above 1979 (they got back together?!?!)

I'd probably get frustrated on the first day since the most bands I want to see all play on that day.

This is why i never go to festivals. None of those bands really are interesting to me. Like here you fork out about £120 for a weekend and say i did that for coachella who would i see who i actually like?

That's it. Over three days, i want to see three bands.

I must be old. Out of that huge list, I only recognize maybe 8-10 of those performers and would only want to see maybe three of them.

You're old? I had never heard of 'Coachella' until like two days ago.

I have, at least, heard of most of the bands...mainly because Cam links their music in the IRC.

I felt last year's line up was better, at least for my tastes. I would want to see Flogging Molly, Klaxons, Boys Noize, The Chemical Brothers, Interpol, Kings of Leon, Bright Eyes, One Day as a Lion, Ratatat, Nas, and She Wants Revenge.

Keep in mind, I went to last years and had a shit load of fun, so I may just be bias towards last year's.

Especially since it takes like, three hours to get in the first day.

Coachella was at its best last year. I am going Download 2019 this year.

It looks like it already passed, but I find with every year that passes that I become less and less interested in the line-ups. It seemed like at one point it used to be the premier indie music festival, but now there's a whole lot of pop garbage. Nevertheless, if I did go I would see:

Friday:
Janelle Monae
Beach Fossils

Saturday:
Aphex Twin
Ty Segall

Sunday:
Gesaffelstein

...so, not really worth it.
