So for those not in the know, I was hospitalized back on March 18th and discharged April 2nd. While I racked up over $84k in debt, the bulk of that has already been handled by Charity Care and I await news of them intervening on the rest (the hospital gives you two bills: one for the hospital facility and another for all the physicians you see-I'm waiting on news that CC will handle the physician bill as well). However, I also needed to use an ambulance and that is something I'm definitely on the hook for.
