I'm actually really, really sad about the New 52 idea, but mainly, it's because I think they really had a lot of momentum with the One Year Later stuff and a lot of things they were doing in the comics (Dick Grayson as Batman, Spoiler as Batgirl, etc). I was really jazzed that the DCU, as a whole, was really moving forward and establishing a new mythos rather than just re-treading the same waters that it'd been doing forever, something that even Marvel seemed to be breaking away from (although we'll see how long it is until they pull something similar). As of New 52, plop, down the hole. At this point, especially since Waid is ending Irredeemable and Incorruptible soon, I think I'm just going to stop reading comics for a while and focus on RPGs.
