Bird Bird Bird The Bird is The Word
Or
BANG BANG BANG BANG!

Real Picks:
Stryper-"Honestly"
Chicago-"You're the Inspiration"

I can't come up with anything different than cheesy 80's love songs.

Went to a wedding last year where the opening beats of NIN's 'Closer' started and everyone who knew the song looked at each other like "What the fuck, are they serious?"...then a record scratched and it went into some country song. The old people had no idea what the hell happened, and the couple were cracking up the entire dance.

For the record, they're in the middle of getting a divorce right now.

Seal - This Could Be Heaven or that Daughtry song about life full of laughter or if all else fails she'll pick something from Rascal Flatts.

The wife and I went with Etta James At Last. I suggested we go with Forever Young by Alphaville and was shot down. I was also shot down on the idea of dressing everyone in the wedding party as a characters from random John Hughes films. Oh well, marriage is compromise.

Or the cover by Creedence Clearwater Revival.

I may have mentioned it earlier in this thread, but I fully intend to hire Exhorder to perform Meat Loaf covers at my wedding. That will be so goddamn awesome.

ever since I saw that movie as a little kid I imagined dancing with my bride at my wedding someday to that song!

I just realized what my perfect wedding song is while watching Highlander.

"It's A Kind of Magic" by Queen. Not only is it metal, and done by one of the most amazing metal bands and singers of all time, its romantic(ish), slow-dancable, and has the added benefit of being a perfect litmus test for my potential husband. If he doesn't get why that would be the most amazing and awesome wedding song ever, I don't want to be spending the rest of my life with him.

Such a beautiful song. And I love the original Highlander (not to mention Freddie there...) so damn much.

Ok, I was actually walking out of my Japanese class today and this song came on my Zune and my inner Star Wars nerd immediately remembered that I really fuckin' want this song at my wedding

They can totally play that instead of the wedding march as the couple goes down the aisle. EPIC.

As cool as that song is, I don't think I'd want it at my wedding. People would just be smirking and laughing like "Oh no he didn't! He's got Star Wars at his wedding." It would detract from the moment.

^ Well yeah. That's true. I wouldn't just randomly bust it out when people weren't expecting it, I don't think (although the hilarity that would ensue would almost make it worth it.)

It would, but dammit all it'd be awesome.

My GF has specifically requested "Dagger" by Slowdive, even though it's a goddamn break-up song.

Besides that, probably the fucking Electric Slide. Fuck!

Depends on how rough the night before was, but perfect song.

My wife ended up picking ours out, "You are the Moon" by the Hush Sound. It's a pretty song. I forget what she walked down the aisle to, but I know I cried like a little bitch because she was so beautiful. Pretty much everyone in the Elks Lodge was crying. A few might have been because she was marrying me, but I didn't ask. Then everybody except me and the wife got tanked and the shitty honky tonk band that played for free nearly blew my fucking eardrums out. It was still cool, though.

Who likes role-playing games? Me. Way too goddamn much.
