We have 31 people. That's honestly a lot more than I expected.
It seems everyone who really wants in is in, and since a 32 person bracket would be completely perfect and awesome, I think I'm gonna change registration a bit.
The details will be in the first post of the thread. But short form, anyone who signs up beyond #32 is not guaranteed a spot, and they will most likely have to go through an extra round. They are still very likely to get in, and I will do my best to do it, but if I can't, I'm sorry.
Also, several entrants have not PMed me their promo blurbs. It's just a sentence or two describing you and saying why we should vote for you. You do not -have- to send one in, and you have until your match to do it (you can't mention your opponent in it), but if you don't, I'll write something neutral and boring for you (unless you pull me. Then you're in for some trouble).
Yeah, fake drama is much more entertaining and funny.
I wish I had time to participate in this myself, but I'm extremely busy with work and grad school right now. I have a draft due March 9th, and I have to work almost 20 hrs of OT per week until a trial starts on the 16th. So, suffice to say, my life is going to be hell the next few weeks, and pretty much joyless. I'm gonna have to makeup for it with an epic b-day party for myself at the end of March.
I look forward to observing this forumbattle and laughing my ass off.

Just had a quick question, do you need to be in the chat room at 9pm on Saturday to compete in your match?or do you just have to make a promo blurb beforehand and that's it? I'm still a little fuzzy on how it works.

You do not need to be there. I just want to do it publicly, and the Bot is perfect for that sort of thing.
It's gonna be a tournament kind of like the March Madness one.

I liked this better when it was run by the mods the first time around. When it's just done by a random member it seems more unofficial - like when Ermac decided to run award polls.
