Not looking good for the birds right now, though. If they don't get some offense going, they're fucked.

That Heroes commercial was fucking goofy.
But I won $125 off the first quarter and another $125 off the second with my squares.

Roethlisberger and Polamalu are my dawgs. Always have loved the Steelers. Cards never stood a chance, unless shit hits the fan in the next 2 quarters.

Yeah, it's a 100 square grid. and you buy squares on it. Usually people do $5 or $10 per square, but sometimes it's more. $100 squares are not entirely uncommon, and the Gloucester fisherman do $1000 squares. After all the squares on the grid are sold, the organizer labels on axis as AFC and the other one as NFC, then they take the numbers 1-10 and randomly draw them out of a hat one at a time. They go down one side of the grid, and label each row 1-10 depending on which number was drawn out of the hat. Once one axis is fully labelled, they go through and do the other side. Then you look at squares and see what numbers you have.
If you have NFC - 0, AFC - 3, then if at the end of any quarter the NFC's score ends in 0 and the AFC's score ends in 3, you win that quarter. On $5 squares, there's a total of $500, which is $125 per quarter. Some pools do winner takes all on the final score, but that's fucking gay.

4th quarter....
Cards are doomed, unless they can pull a Giants-esque upset within 12 minutes. Talk a rock-solid defense.

Cards just scored again, they can easily put this bitch into overtime if they can penetrate Pitt's D.

I was reading about Kurt Warner earlier. He's a nice guy and his path to the NFL was a tough one, not to mention his path after being unceremoniously dumped by the Rams. If they pull off the upset, it would be pretty awesome.

..and they probably might!
2 1/2 minutes, and the Cards scored a touchdown, if they can keep 'em back, they win the whole shebang.
But they seem to be the kind to choke a little from what I'm seeing...
Edit: dammit, beaten to it.

Is this a "Dewey defeats Truman" thing? Because I'm seeing 42 seconds left and the Cards are still up by 3 on Yahoo.
...Looks like a hell of a game, I'm sad I'm missing it.
EDIT: Ah, they just punched it in. Oh well.

Motherfucking son of a bitch. The poor Cardinals. They didn't deserve to loose like this. Fuck the Steelers. Fuck them with a pole.
Although, there is still hope. Come on guys, YOU CAN DO IT!

No, they deserved to lose 44-6.
At least they're gonna cover.

^ Nah, all I meant was it was particularly cruel to have just enough things go in their favor that they came so close. I feel for them, that's all. I really wanted to see t hem pull it off.

Someone wanna explain this line in the box score to me:
0:00 PIT TD James Harrison intercepted Kurt Warner for 100 yards (Jeff Reed made PAT) 17 - 7
Looks like that made all the difference. 14 point swings suck.
