Well if it's about her watching her family from heaven while they deal with her death, why's it got to be a rape? It could be anything tragic. You could just replace the rape part and say she choked to death in the middle of a pie eating contest.

We can't replace that with the rape, we have to basically re-enact the entire book, we can;t jsut change facts when the teacher has read each book.

All I'm saying is I'd watch a movie where a girl dies while experimenting with her reluctant friend. And then watches her family as a ghost.
And the family sells the rights to her story to the media and they have a heyday.

Well the teacher said it has to be off screen, not sure exactly what else we will do, I'll probably have to be the killer and dispose of the body and what not but the rape scene will not occur...not on screen anyway.

They are just filming a scene from a book. I would do it but that's just because the videos we made for highschool were fucking hilarious. You could easily turn this (most likely very dark moment) into a comedy gem laughed about for years between your friends. Does it have to be verbatim or can you tweak it a little bit? If it has to be Verbatim then yea, I wouldn't want to be the raper. |

WARNING!!!! ACTUALLY HELPFUL ADVICE BELOW!!!
You COULD just film the shadows. Just cast a floodlight on the two of you, act like you're ripping off her clothes and forcing yourself on her, and film the shadows being cast on the wall behind. That way, the rape will be intact, but not actually shown. Then cut to the killing/body disposal.
