God I love that game. I have probably played through it at least 15 times. Keep 'em coming.

I'm still updating these daily, just for the record. The post above now has the entire playlist to date and should be updated as I add more.
Part 4 is particularly interesting. It's a Sega CD exclusive (the whole reason I wanted to do the CD version), and there's some pretty entertaining fuckups, or so I'm told.
Ahhh, somehow I overlooked this! I've never played EJ myself, but I'm looking forward to watching this. Must make a point to carve some time out tonight to watch!

Okay, I'm whoring a little, but I absolutely love this stage and was pleased with how it turned out.
Anyone want to try out the Advanced course for me?
it is very fun. actually, the whole game is very fun. the sequel was almost as good as part 1, but they are 2 of my favorite genesis platform games of all time. OF ALL TIME

I intend to offer evidence to refute this.
Earthworm Jim 1 has some very good levels and some mediocre, kind of annoying ones. EWJ2 has some very good levels and some VERY bad ones.

they can be, but i believe the charm and humor of the game outweigh some of the game design decisions. are there bad levels? probably, i cant recall since its been ages, but nothing that would turn you off from the whole game in general imo

Puppy Love.
lol yes, that is a frustrating stage, but nothing too bad. its an escort stage, but its not as bad as other video game escort stages. its a neat concept really.

It's a pretty lose definition of "escort". It's just a remake of the old bouncing babies game.
And if it were one stage, I'd be fine with it. Three times, 4 rounds apiece, it just gets tedious.

my mistake. i was thinking of part one where you have to get peter puppy to the end of the stage. was that his name, peter puppy?
but yes, i have to agree on that bouncing babies one. that was fun at first, but 4 times is BS.
they did the same thing in part 1 w/the snot bungie stage too.
Still adding EWJ2 videos, but I wanted to ask people's preferences on my commentary style. Do you like them better as annotations, or on the side in the comments?
