Being the uber nerd who lost all of his Milkcaps / Pogs when a fire happened in the house I grew up in my sophmore year of high school, then I would say HELL YEAH GET EM

I want a metal slammer shaped like a ninja star. I used to have one, and it was badass. I can't find them on eBay though. There must be a law against selling them. Fucking laws.
I used to have a ton of pogs in elementary school and literally, no exaggeration here, I went home one Friday with them being cool, came back Monday as the only kid who still had them, very uncool.

What is quite as useful as pogs?
I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.
Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.
a deck of cards. One could argue that there's more fun and usage to be had with a deck of cards, but there's only 52 cards to 300 pogs...it balances out
My Buddy has a Cutter Slammer out of solid brass. Essentially a slammer that is, as Syd wanted, cut like a throwing star, but thicker. On it though was OJ simpson on one side, his face, all of this relief engraved, saying don't squeeze the juice. And on the back is a picture of the bronco from behind speeding away

Like everything else pogs went intermediately out of fashion the moment I acquired some, by then all the kids at school were into marbles. Fucking marbles, what is this the 1830s?
That looks more like a saw blade than a ninja star.

I never collected those things, but they were given away for free so often. I think I have a Mets one and a Dime Savings Bank one. Wahoo!
In any case, there was a flea market up in Wellfleet Mass where they used to sell lots of pog stuff. They DEFINITELY had metal ones shaped like ninja stars. The problem is that these things aren't popular anymore. So I doubt you could still find them. But the collectors there must know where that shit can be found.
Man I loved my pogs. I would goto school and just wreck kids with them. My skills far exceeded those around me when it came to pogs and I could do all sorts of tricks with them. But when we moved, I lost track of my pogs and I got them scattered all over my house. I even had those ninja star slammers, some Michael Jordon slammer, and my personal favorite an Alien Metal Slammer that would whistle when I threw it down... I feel sad now

Equally useful as pogs?
I might have some lint in my belly button that I could let you borrow to trade and you can hit me back next time you forget to take a shower.
