im in AZ. so its too far south for you to come by. and i personally wouldnt want you to come by since its gonna be over 105 degrees fahrenheit the whole month of june. you might not be used to such ridiculous extremes of dry heat.

I'm currently back in Chicago. Who knows when I'll go back to LA. The plan was originally to go back out in August, but I think I'm going to stay here a bit longer to build up more $$$ and scripts.

Val,
I'm not sure if you have ever been to NYC before (and no I don't live there) but the extra 4 hours south from Boston is well worth your time if you have never been.

I'm supposed to be in the Bronx at a Yankees game on the 4th of July weekend, you should probably stay inside. My hijinx could get dangerous depending on the amount of alcohol involved. There I warned you. Plus i'll be wearing a Bosox jersey and cap so I'm dead man walking.

BUMP
This thing is less than a month away and I still need a place to crash in the Boston area, as well as the west side of ND, but I don't foresee that happening....

If you head up southwards through BC, you should stop in Chilliwack. Just so I have someone to attest to that fact that it is shitty beyond belief. I saw some native guy pull down his pants and take a shit behind safeway last night.

In Chilliwack? Seriously?
Actually, the Wack has an odd presence on this forum. There's been three other Chilliwackos on here. Two of them were my friends (Xavier13 and Phantom General), and only came because I told them to, but still.

He really is a douche. Like seriously. It started to rub off on me it was so potent. But I got to see the wall of NES games, so that was pretty cool.
It's no wonder Tebor won the forum's character battle. The man is made of steel.
The man. The legend. The Sydman.

Ok, so here's the adventure as near as I can remember.
I worked solid up until about 24 hours before I actually left for the trip. At this time, the weather in PEI had taken a very cold and damp turn, and I was sick as a dog. So my packing was atrocious, and I ended up leaving behind all my food stuffs and various minor things I intended to bring. Eventually we (my girlfriend and I) got on our way and had a fairly uneventful drive to the border.
That's when things got bad.
First, we had to sit in line for TWO HOURS before we even got to the border. Then, we were interrogated for half an hour. Apparently a Canadian guy crossing into the US with an American girlfriend is highly suspicious. They thought I was going into the US to freeload or something. Anyway, after showing them my contract and diploma, and being given the third degree (in seperate rooms), we were allowed to continue our journey.
Maine has a lot of trees.
I didn't get into Syd's place until late that night, due to the delays at the border, so we just got to hang out and watch RAW for a bit before I had to go find a place to sleep.
The next day found us on I-90 for a long, long time. We stopped in to visit Niagara Falls which was absolutely amazing. Definitely worth the extra hour of driving. That night I got to stop in at Douche's for a couple hours. We played Guitar Hero and watched Big and Rob. Good times all around. Driving into Douche's place, we saw a road sign that said 'Black Detour' and had an arrow on it. I have no idea what the hell it was.
The next day was the longest day. We drove from PA to Chicago to meet up with Tebor, (I hate big city driving), and then continued on to west Wisconsin to spend a few days with her parents.
While there, I ate an ass load of various game meats, and did a lot of relaxing. I also had completely lost my voice at this point from being sick, so it was nice to recover that as well. I took the opportunity to repack the car, which took up a LOT less room now that I was healthy.
After a much too short break, we got on the road again and drove through Minnesota and North Dakota. ND is terribly boring and flat, at least until you get to the badlands which are actually kind of picturesque.
The next day we drove through Montana... which was surprisingly even worse than ND. It didn't help that I went to the wrong border crossing and had to back track for an hour to get back on the highway to get to the right one. One interesting thing about MT is that whenever someone dies in car accident, they put a metal cross on the highway where they died. We were on Highway 2 for hours, and you seriously couldn't go 20 minutes without seeing one. One marker had 7 crosses on it, which I can only assume was a van hitting an 18-Wheeler.
We finished that day in Calgary, AB. Crossing into Canada was much friendlier.
The next day we got to drive through Banff and Jasper national parks. Absolutely stunning. I'm so glad I had someone with me to experience the parks. After driving through ND and MT, mountains were a welcome sight.
One night's stay in Prince George, and another couple hours and I was here. That's the long and (not so) short of it. I'm probably forgetting some interesting things, but oh well.
tl;dr - I drove. A lot.
