Grid wars is this awesome robotron-esque game that is a basically a one to one conversion of Geometry Wars 3.

It's fun to pick up and play and it has great graphics and sounds. I highly reccomend playing with a dual analog controller setup.

Make sure you download the patches too! Enjoy.

Pretty good mindless twitch based fun, I dig it.

Ya happen to know of any XBox controller PC drivers that work better than XBCD? XBCD's been inconsitent on my machine, it's starting to bug me.

Sorry, I don't know of any. I use this

It's a 12 dollar PSX to USB converter I picked up from Radio Shack. Cheap little thing, breaks easily, but it does the trick if you're careful with it. I've gone through one before, it just stopped working randomly.

I'll keep an eye out for any x-box controller related stuff and PM you or post it here if I find something.

What exactly is being inconsistent, is it the analog sticks, or perhaps input polling intervals?

Oh bother, it's most likely a problem with my software, I.E my window's or games acting up. Everything works fine when I'm calibrating it, and works fine when I boot up the game right after I calibrated it, but after I close it, the axis' change on me when I boot it up again. It's crazy, and annoying.

Anyway, I have one of those PS -> USB dealies, but the giant XBox controller is my favorite controller ever. I have big hands.

Oh, I've heard stuff about the axes flipping and getting screwy specifically on x-box controllers, actually. I'll see if I can dig up some more info.
