This is one of my all time favorite cartoons, and it's great to see it coming to DVD, even if season one is all of like 5 or 6 episodes. One of my favorite episodes was in season 5 when they had a radio DJ from here in Boston, Matt Siegel (Matty in the morning, for anyone who would have heard of it but somehow didn't know his full name), and he basically spent his whole time with Dr. Katz insulting his listening audience. It gave me a whole new respect for that man.

I find it amazing how "they" seems to be behind on getting all the good pre-DVD shows onto seasonal DVDs. "They" need to get their asses into gear as I've seen more crap DVD coverages than otherwise. Agh. I'm so impatient.

RIP Hacker.

I think I saw a bootleg copy of Dr. Katz DVDs on this here internet, it had all the episodes on about a half dozen DVDs for $85. I didn't buy it, because I'm unemployed.

I digress, yay for first party Dr. Katz DVDs, Jon Benjamin is the man, I love him in animated shows, even if all the characters he voices have the same lethargic attitude.

Can of Vegetables in Wet Hot American Summer was fairly energetic and motivated. Then again, he only had like three lines.

I thought he was phenomenal as 'Can of Vegtables'.

They should explore that role more extensively.
