1-900 numbers. And, I don't mean just the sex ones. Everybody and everything had a 1-900 number. Mostly to take easy money from kids. ("Remember kids, ask your parents' permission before calling!" - Yeah right...)

A few classics:

Before becoming a Multi-millionare TV/Movie Star, Will Smith was making his fortune at $2.00/minute. .45 each additional minute:

Or about calling up Freddy Kruger?

Or MC Hammer?

Any other great ones you can remember?

Tebor had posted a Total Recall one at one point.

And I think a He-Man one.

If I still have 'em on my hard drive, I'll upload them.

Writing '80's and 90's' refers to the years 1980 and 1990 exclusively.

If you mean the entire decade, that would be the '80s and 90s.'

Just sayin'.

There was also a thread about them... Oh, here.

I guess there was also a Robocop one. That's right, it was in promotion of Robocop 2.

Because watching Robocop save Sting in WCW was so much more amusing.
