goddamnit, with all the fucking programmers out there
nobody can create an xband emulator that allows you to play snes games or genesisi games online?

i know theres zbattle, but it's not the same

the thing is, x-band was for dialup, so you'd be emulating dial-up

Shit, I haven't emulated after my HDD died. What the hell was that program called that supported online play for pretty much every big emulator out there?

Either way, there's your answer. Bollocks to x-band. Yeah, it was cool. But you don't need it anymore.

I actually picked it up from Boz, over at Slay Radio. He's a fun DJ to listen to.

And it doesn't really matter where I picked it up, because I'll still be in the wrong for saying it, seeing as I'm vocal about my opinions on this bullshit Japanese fad, or whatever the hell you're all calling it now.

I might have. I honestly can't remember, it's simple enough that I probably did. It was in my archive of random crap. There's about 2,000+ GIFs,JPEGs, and BMPs in there, that I have been making, collecting from others, and using since college. (1997 or so.)

anyways yeah idk, the xband emulator would kick ass

all you would have to do is take a genesis emulator. and the actual xband hardware (which i have....id be happy to donate it) and like transfer the xband graphics and shit to a rom which would be used as the actual program combined with the genesis emulator

then you could just load up the whole program and play head to head genesis games with the same kind of interface that Xband used to have!

i don't see why this couldn't be done

oh yeah, tried to use kaillera before, didn't like it

Are you asking us? I don't think anybody has ROM ripping tools that I know of. And even then, the interface wouldn't work the same unless you replaced the phone line shit with netcode (probably from Kailerra, since that's whats out there). And then you'd just have Kailerra with a skin over it.
