Have you ever been talking with someone and you use a fairly common metaphor, and they have no idea what the fuck you're talking about? This happens to me a lot, like when I say "I'm just spitballing here". Nothing. Apparently folks in Hicktown don't bother rolling their spit into balls, they just rear back and hock it. Anybody else?

This isn't quite the same thing, but I hate when people misspeak phrases. Particularly, I absolutely want to STAB people when they use the phrase "butt naked". It's BUCK naked, goddammit!
