5. Sealab 2021
a show made of cells from a show from the "rocket robin hood" producers called "sealab 2020" completley random, and so fucking halarious.

4. Daily planet
what?!? I like to learn.

3.Kenny vs. Spenny
fucking douches cancelled this show. this was perhaps the funniest reality show ever, where 2 friends competed in challenges. Challenges like who could stay up the longest, and who would beat who in a boxing match. Halarity ensues.

2.Trailer park boys
Great canadian television. for those of you who haven't seen it,it's a show about 2 criminals, and there shed-living friend who live in "sunnyvale trailer park" they grow dope, have gun fights, get drunk, and deal with a crazy ex cop drunk and his gay shirtless life partner. it's filmed in "mockumentary" style, and is so incredibly funny.

1.Little Brittain
The New age monty python, where you view the lives of crazy uk citizens. you get to peer into the lives of Elderly loving youths, homophobes who claim to be the only gay in the village (watch and all will be understood), idiotic teenagers, crossdressers and all sorts. its fucking funny. nothing else to say about it,bitch.

I am a worthless piece of crap.

This is a tougher question than the video game list... whereas I was limited as to how many video games I could play when I was younger (NES/SNES/Sega Master System games weren't free), Nickelodeon paraded an endless number of decent to excellent shows from the time I woke up until I fell asleep. So let's see...

5. Video Power
Near where I live, nobody has heard of this show except me and my brother, and that's because we watched it every morning before we went to school. If anybody isn't familiar, it was a game show in which contestants played ACTUAL VIDEO GAMES against each other for a chance to run through a maze as the final "obstacle." The insanely cool part about this maze was that you get to take video games OFF THE FUCKING WALL AS YOU GO! When I was a kid, that would have been my heaven.
It was also worlds cooler than lame-ass Nick Arcade where they make up video games for the kids to play in. Watching kids play against one another in Mario Brothers 3 is way better than watching kids stumble their way through a stupid bluescreen display.

4. Salute Your Shorts
I might just be reminded of this show because of the article posted on the site, but it was definitely one of my favorites in my pubescent years. It made me want to go to camp, plus I thought Dina was kind of hot.

3. Family Guy
I wanted to make this list entirely 80's-early 90's related, but Family Guy is too damn good to leave out of any "Favorite TV Show" list.

2. Super Mario Brothers show (only on Fridays)
Actually, I forget if it was the Super Mario Brothers show or Captain N, the Game Master that showed the Legend of Zelda cartoon. I used to be pissed that the Zelda cartoon didn't come on more often than just once a week. I wasn't too particularly interested in the Super Mario Brothers show between Monday and Thursday, but Friday I was planted firmly in front of the TV. The only downside to that show was it kind of took the mystique away from Ganon. He always seemed scarier just laughing at you after you die in The Adventure of Link, but seeing him move around and talk in cartoon form was a little disillusioning.

1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Saturday mornings, 10AM, right after Garfield. Any self-respecting 7-12 year old would be watching the Ninja Turtles, cheering for their favorite one. Donatello was the shit in my book. Raphael was cool too, but Michelangelo seemed retarded and Leonardo always seemed like kind of a pussy to me.
Regardless, this show rocked, it pretty much IS my childhood.

Just like my video game list, there's probably more that I didn't mention, but these 5 are a pretty good Kubo list.

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us.

I think I remember Video Power. Didn't contestants wear velcro suits that the host stuck points on when they answered a question correctly or got the best score in a game challenge? Also wasn't that how they kept the games with them when they ran through the obstacle thingy?

4. 5, 4, 3, 2, Run!

3. Owl TV

2. Captain N

1. Beakman's World

This list is completely wrong. I was just trying to show off my knowledge of obscure shows. Sue me.

Yeah, so I guess it was unfortunate if you wanted to get a complete shitload of games, since technically, you could run out of room on the suit during the obstacle course, but it's still a badass game. And I completely forgot about the points being stuck to their bodies too, but now that you mention it, yeah, that's right too.

In no order:

24 - Depspite my love of TV DVDs, 24 is still a show I watch live during broadcast.

Twin Peaks - Great show. Lasted 30 episodes so it felt more like a mini-series. BOB is not real! It was all Leland! He did it all! He had problems! There is no supernatural or red room.

Sonic the Hedgehog (ABC version) - Serious cartoon show unlike the UPN version. Exo-Squad also gets props for being a soap opera cartoon show.

Alias - I only watch this show on DVD. It is fantastic. Alas, I'm one season behind the new one.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe - What? It's a fun show. The DVDs are amazing. The 10 ten had a documentary focus on each episode. All episodes will be on DVD by the end of next year. That is amazin. Now, all great dead shows not broadcast in 20 years should be on DVD!

"If you will not tell me, I will hurt people!!!" -Nuclear Man

"Do you hear? The alpha and the omega. Death and rebirth. And as you die, so will I be reborn!" - Skeletor

8341 unread forum updates since I left (2/7/14)... Uh-oh.

Much like the Emmys, my top 5 favorite TV shows is littered with HBO series. Maybe it's cheating because networks can't shows nudity, excessive violence, or extreme profanity. To that I say: I don't care. There were no restrictions put on the quesiton. The devil's in the details. And New Jersey.

Top 5 Favorite Programs

1. Six Feet Under - HBO - Is it weird? Sure. Can you jump right into it mid-season? Probably not. But it's smartly written, superbly acted, and it's the only show that puts out a great episode every single week that makes you question everything you know about life and death. Sadly the series finale was almost two weeks ago, but if you have HBO On Demand the first season should start being replayed in the next few weeks.

(Does anyone know if it's possible to record On Demand shows to VCR or DVD? Is it protected somehow?)

2. The Sopranos - HBO - Maybe it's because I'm a 100%, parents-off-the-boat (actually, plane) Mamaluke, but I love this fucking show. It's just plain fun to watch. The stories are so entrenching and well thought-out that you can't help but get sucked in. And this show would only work on HBO; I can't see 60 minutes of censored dialogue and implied violence and nudity flying on the network, not even late-night. It only worked for ABC in the beginning for NYPD Blue, and even then the novelty wore off within the frist couple of years.

3. Monday Night RAW - USA, TNN, Spike TV, USA (again) - I won't pretend that today's wrestling product is 1/100th as good as it was back when wrestling was "trendy". It has been spoiled by terrible writers, even worse wrestlers, and a lack of urgency to make a good product due to a lack of serious competition. However, for 10 years my eyes were glued to the TV at 9pm on Monday nights. I've been a wrestling fan since I was a tyke, and the idea of a late-night WWF show that could push some boundries and wouldn't just feature heavyweight stars against jabronies (Barry Horowitz? The Brooklyn Brawler? Turd Ferguson?) like the Saturday morning shows was a revelation. RAW and wrestling in general became the glue that held my friends together during the week, and until the content began to go downhill in 2002 it was a staple of my life.

4. Saturday Night Live - NBC - Am I really going to be able to tell you anything about this show that you don't already know? It's fucking hilarious (at times) and an endless source of quotes among friends, co-workers, and even strangers. 'Nuff said.

5. Arrested Development - FOX - I know it's trendy pick, and I'm guessing not enough of you have watched it to benefit writing up how great it is. All I can say is to please tune in because it's a fucking riot. If Portia del Rossi isn't enough to get you to watch, Charlize Theron will be guest-starring for 5 episodes starting with the second episode of this season (which begins on September 19th).

I WISH Arrested Development was trendy. Their last season actually got cut short because it wasn't pulling in the ratings FOX wanted. It is a damn good show and it sucks ass that it's almost been cancelled like three or four times already.

I guess I'll do my list now. It is subject to change depending on my mood, but here's what it is right at this moment in time.

1. South Park - From its humble beginnings as a violent, vulgar, and crudely animated cartoon to its current incarnation as a violent, vulgar social commentary that feigns bad animation for kicks, South Park remains one of my favorite shows ever.

2. The Simpsons - The quality of the show had somewhat deteriorated in recent years, but I can't help but watch The Simpsons when it's on. I swear to God though, if they do one more joke about how Homer never goes to work anymore then I will kick Matt Groening in the groin. Hard.

3. WCW Monday Nitro - Although WCW was only briefly as popular as the WWF, Nitro was a solid show. It was cheesy at times, but I enjoy cheesiness in wrestling. Fake heart attacks, Viagra-on-a-pole matches, and Norman Smiley make me smile. I always felt that WCW's worst angles were more watchable and less retarded than the WWF's worst angles; no one ever gave birth to a disembodied hand on Nitro. Nitro was worth watching for the cruiserweight division alone, a division that Vince McMahon still refuses to develop properly in his company. If nothing else, Nitro reminds me of a time when wrestlers spent more time wrestling than advancing poorly developed plots.

4. Seinfeld - Yeah it's a predictable choice, but it's fucking Seinfeld. The show was brilliant, end of story.

5. 24 - This show is as addictive as cocaine and twice as exciting. It always keeps me coming back for more and I can't wait to see where the new season leads.

I guess I meant in the way that TV-savvy people are always saying "Arrested Development is so great, I can't believe no one watches it. It's the best show ever."
