I've been to two different conventions this year.

* Furry Weekend Atlanta. Yes I'm a furry, but not some nut with a fursuit trying to hump others with one,
* MomoCon. A free anime convention held at Georgia Tech. This year it was ended three hours early because some btard decided it'd be funny to bring fireworks inside the Student Center, thus freaking out authorities and calling for a shut down to take care of a "bomb scare."

That looks a lot like Lauren from HoneyBeeManor.com. I doubt it is though, as she lives in California.

I don't go to conventions; they creep me out. I guess the closest I come to conventions is Magic tournaments.

I'm somewhat interested in going to a Trek or Farscape convention, but they creep me out too. However, my desire for autographed photos of Shatner, Nimoy, Gigi Edgley, Wayne Pygram, Ben Browder, & Lani Tupu might win out eventually.

I originally thought this thread was about Lords pointing out the negative aspects of things.

I'd go to a convention if I had the chance and the money. I would feel out of place at any convention because I would be on the least die hard people there, unless they had a chess or Arrested Development convention, maybe.
