First, 3D All-Stars is coming to Switch, combining Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy. I play through Mario 64 every year, and don't really care about it getting a port, but I missed out on both Sunshine and Galaxy (though I did love Galaxy 2). Probably will pick this up.

Second, Super Mario 3D World is getting a port. I still have my Wii U hooked up, and played through this recently enough that I don't feel like I need a port. But the "+Bowser's Fury" sting at the end is intriguing. Maybe they'll take my money.

Third, Mario 35, is a Battle Royale remake of Super Mario Bros, in the vein of that Tetris Battle Royale that came out a couple years ago. I will definitely waste at least one Saturday morning on this.

And last, Mario Kart Live, which I think is the coolest of these announcements. Control an RC car with your switch, and race Koopaling ghosts around your living room. Can also do multi-player with friends, provided they have their own Switch, car, and game.

3D-All-Stars has my attention.
I would love to replay Mario 64 (with remastered HD Graphics) and i also missed out on Sunshine and Galaxy back in the day, so that could be fun.

Super Mario 3D All Stars looks pretty awesome. Super Mario 64 looks to be the same blocky game at 4:3, but Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy are 1080p and looking good. It's only being sold for six months, so I preordered.

Also, Zelda's 35th anniversary is next year, so maybe we will get a bunch of Zelda content.

What?
That can't be right. Where did you hear that?

I will also probably buy the "Mario Game & Watch", if it's sold for a reasonable price.

I'm pretty sure the Nintendo videos have said this too.

They are doing the same thing for Super Mario Bros. 35th, the online game. I wish they would keep these games around permanently.

I'm also interested in buying the Mario Game & Watch too. I wonder what 35 hidden features are on it.

Oh absolutely. I'm totally down for that.

I was just personally never a huge MM fan, and I haven't been able to play OOT since the N64 (I don't have a DS.) I want to play it again sooo baaaaad.

Ok, wow, that's weird and i still can't believe that Nintendo is really going to do that.
Anyway, i am gonna buy the game way sooner anyways, so i surely won't miss out on it. Smile

Yea, i actually remember playing MM back on the N64 and i think i was a bit too young to really get what the game was all about.
I remember liking it but also that i just ran around confused not knowing what to do next.
I think i would it appreciate the game more at this day and age.

I have OoT: Remastered for 3DS and they should really port this version too (not just the original), i appreciate the Retro-Swagger of the N64 but the 3DS Version is a lot prettier overall.

Even though I know it's going to be only okay and overpriced and I"m about thirty years too old for it, I cannot wait to waste money on Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit.

You know what's awesome, Super Mario 3D All Stars.

You know what's not awesome? The fact that Super Mario 3D All Stars will be a "limited digital edition", meaning that Nintendo is already planning on removing it from the Switch store next store (and making limited physical copies). I'm feeling pre-preemptively nauseated about the storm of Nintendo fans that will bitch about digital piracy when Nintendo continues to facilitate policies around their games that encourages scalpers.

It's already sold huge numbers. There's no way Nintendo will remove it completely if it's printing money.

My best guess is, once the time expires, they'll all be available digitally on a one by one basis, at $30+ each.

Ok, i pre-ordered myself a physical copy of it.

What LeshLush is saying kinda makes sense.
Nintendo probably treats the 3D-Allstar Version as an "Anniversary Edition" that is now available to celebrate the 35 year anniversary of the Mario games and then they split it up and sell them individually after the moment has passed.

I could imagine that this could be the case.

I hope I can get the Game & Watch Super Mario Bros before it gets sold out.

My biggest gripe with 3D All-Starts: they've taken all of the inverted controls from Mario 64 and made them non-inverted, but with no option to change them back.

Some of us are old and have never made the switch to non-inverted control schemes. When I press forwards on the analogue stick, I expect the cannon I'm firing Mario out of to start aiming downwards.

God the camera in Mario 64 blows.
I forgot about that, but it's still fun to replay it.

They're patching in inverted camera controls to 3D All-Stars, which is making me cry tears of joy.

Maybe they can patch in an actually working camera for Mario 64 while they are at it?
Or that you can change inverted controls to controls for normal human beings?

So, i got the Mario Game and Watch.

Nice little collectible but the price is much too high for watch you get.

Still cool to have it.

Made a short video of me trying it out:

Yeah I thought the price was expensive as hell when I first saw it. It does look like a high-quality lil knick-knack though.

The quality is fine. The games look very clean and defined on that screen.

But it's really more of an collectors item, by no means a must-have.
