Abstraction: Man, this sucks. I can't quite tell what's going on. I feel something, but not quite sure what it is.
Representation: Come on, that's impossible. Just use your words. How are you feeling? What are you feeling? What exactly is happening.
Abstraction: I'm telling you, I'm not sure. It's like as soon as I began understanding it, I shift my point of view a little and everything changes. I'm not necessarily saying I feel "bad". I just can't quite pinpoint it.
Representation: Yeah, no. That's not how it works. What you're going through can be described. Try using words that correlate, that are similar. Maybe that will work?
Abstraction: Yeah, I could try. I mean, my connotation may be different from yours though.
Representation: Hell, maybe even try drawing a picture of it. That will help us have a clear idea of what you're experiencing.
Abstraction: Ok, let me try.
Representation: Wha....what is that? An elephant? A railroad track? Wait...Australia. What are you drawing?
