So I go out for lunch and I'm sitting down waiting for the waitress and me and my buddy are just talking about the upcoming tourney were having...(we're redoing the competition from the wizard) and I get a call on my cellphone and it's a Secretary to some Lawyer calling me.

She said, "Is this Dan?" I say yea, "Please hold" WTF you call me and you tell me to hold? So this guy gets on the phone and he's like "Hi Dan, I'm from Bryant & Cooper Attorneys" "Do you know why I am contacting you" NO! "You are being sued for an Auto Accident you were in on March 31st, 2005."

"WHAT?!!" "A man by the name of Dennis Douchebag is suing you for injuries he sustained in the accident" Let's take a timeout. In this accident I was pushed off the road by a MACK TRUCK into a Country Fair Parking lot. His passenger side hit my drivers side.

Ok so not only has the Douchebag used the 2 year statute of limitations meaning he sued me just in time before he was unable to, but now he's claiming my 02 NEON caused him to hurt himself in his MACK Truck. UN FUCKING BELIEVEABLE.

So the Lawyer calls me in to his office to take my statement, and I'm told Dennis Douchebag will be there with his Lawyer. So I show up and he's sitting there in a NECK BRACE and he has a a brace on his wrist. He's claiming he has had to wear these ever since the accident and he got fired and has been unable to find another job. And all around "loss of enjoyment of life"

Just Guess how much he's Suing me for....

$157,000! WTF! He hits me and he's suing me, then my lawyer tells me its to late to file a countersuit or anything so now im pissed. I realize my insurance company, who is no longer my insurance company will take care of the litigation costs and if he wants money they're the ones going to pay him but its just the principal.

I don't want him getting a GODDAMN DIME!

I have his name, address and phone number. I think i'm gonna do the relay call and prank his ass. Me and some friends are gonna stake out his house and catch this asshole.

I would not mind he was shot and or beaten senseless...atleaast earn your "Sue Happy Ass" some money.

You should cut this guys balls off and shove them down his throat.

The likely scenario is that this guy recently lost his job, and rather than go out and find a new one, he remembered the accident and decided he could use the asshole precedent that's been set to his advantage and sue you for his gross incompetence.

If I were you I'd totally post his address and phone number at 4chan or something.

Nah, he needs an Italian style beatdown. Baseball bat to the kneecaps. I have the bat, you provide me with the knees. Fun is assured for all parties involved - especially for me, but except for him of course.

Considering the accident was his fault, it should be easy for you to get a summary judgment on this. Good luck to ya, I hate frivolous lawsuits.

that's fucked man. You don't need to take any un-necessary violent action, No judge is going to buy that this guy had to wear a neck brace for 2 years. his claim will get thrown out in court so fucking fast. Just take all the legal steps you need to man, as slow as you need to, to make sure you've got the evidence to prove this guy is just a total D-bag looking to get a little money.

I'm not saying that you're lying, but usually when someone is being sued they are served papers by a court official... they don't usually get a call from some lawyer. Also, you don't make a statement to an attorney, you present your case in civil court... that being said, if this is the case, I'd hold out on any sort of settlement. I'd take that bitch to court, because any judge will see right past the neck brace 2 years after fact, and the judge likely won't believe anything else they try to say.

He didn't have to wear the neck brace because of the accident, he had to wear it because he hurt himself while masturbating.

I got served the papers. It was by the County Sheriff. They had my parents address, since that was my home at the time of the accident and gave them the papers, they just forgot to mention them until I called her complaining about this douchebag.

Since he is suing my insurance company and not me personally they are just taking a statement of the events of the accident. He's not gonna get my money. I got the transcripts from the meeting. It's funny if you read it. The lady included, "Would you like a drink of Water?" "No I have a different thirst." True story.

I was also told I wouldn't have to go to court and that 9/10 times these are settled out of court. But i'm stubborn and I told the appointed Lawyer I didn't want this guy getting a single dime. He just said he'll see what he can do...

P.S. this is over the course of the past week and today I got the transcripts from the deposition(spelling).
