I was never much one for forum posts, but better late then never, I suppose. It was particularly saddening when logging in tonight to see the IRC channel dead, forum beleaguered by spam. So I started reading old IRC logs from 2010, and it's crazy to think that it's been over a decade now since I stumbled upon Sydlexia.com. So much has changed in all of our lives and I think many of us knew, in the back of our minds, not wanting to believe, that this community would slowly dwindle. And to me, now, it's become a sort of internet shrine that I can't ever stop checking on every once in a while.

This community helped form a large part of who I am today - I learned a lot, met a lot of really cool people I hope to run into and chat with again some day. Many of which I will probably never hear from again, but I'll never be able to forget. To everyone who sees this post: thank you for the years of company, good music, excellent games, amazing conversations and so much more. I'm going to make a greater effort to pop on to the forums and be involved!
