someone mentioned this offhandedly in another thread, but has anyone here floated the idea of making a Discord server?
It would basically be a more modern IRC. It's got name colors and avatars, it can hold bot functions. Hell, it's got a dark mode, and if you hate the way it looks all modernized you can literally make it look like IRC. It's a win win.
I'm fully willing to get this server started if enough people want to join in.
