Usually the death of a celebrity doesn't really move me in any way. Stuart Scott, however, is a different story.

He's always been a favorite of mine on ESPN, and Sports Center won't be the same without him.

He was fighting cancer a third time after two remissions. Heartbreaking. Great guy, very sad for his family.

49 is way too young to die.

I grew up watching him as a big basketball fan all my life. This is something akin to losing Mr Rogers for me.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, dead at 21, closer to 22, before we could've known if she had any talent.

This seems to be premature.

Like famous or talented in the same way Will Smith has whored out his children?

I am not ashamed to say that I actually cried when Robin Williams and Philip Seymour Hoffman died. I usually just don't give a fuck when a celebrity dies but shit, those two were a great tragedy IMO.

Sad she's dead but just meh...

Syd was right, it was premature. The news report my Mom repeated to me was wrong. Not that it looks good.

Anyway, that was the first I'd heard of the matter and I haven't really paid attention to the news since The Colbert Report ended.

Since GeorgeTaylor doesn't know how to do this properly, it falls to me to say that Leonard Nimoy has died from CPOD at 83.

Fantasy author Terry Pratchett. I know he'd been struggling with Alzheimer's, so it was probably a blessing, but I'm still sad to see him go.
