If you haven't heard the news, Capcom announced a iOS game called Rockman Xover for the Blue Bomber's silver anniversary, which is going to bring together every Mega Man in a single storyline. It comes out this fall in Japan and everywhere else shortly after. It also looks like crap and will probably play like crap too.

When I first heard the news, I laughed. Then I started reading some comments and got an idea on how to change Capcom so this never happens again. Before I knew it, I spent literally my entire day today writing 4,730 words about a series I don't even care about that much. I took some influence from Syd Lexia's post about sexism in video games, by which I mean I kinda borrowed a point he made in it wholesale to support my own. Syd, let me know if you want credit for it, and I apologize in advance.

Thanks! I hope you picked up on the influence from your recent articles because I wrote it with a combination of an inspiration from your style and a full dose of Craze. I drank it to stay awake for a road trip that ultimately ended up not happening, so I just wrote that article instead when I heard the news about Rockman Xover. I was basically on drugs when I first wrote it and look where it got me.
