Iron Sky is a comedy sci-fi movie coming out April 4 and it is about Nazis on the moon invading Earth. Looks pretty awesome. I will be seeing it when it comes to Netflix/dvd.

Now, if they have Junichiro Koizumi, Vladimir Putin, Pope Benedict XVI, George Bush Sr. and Jr., and Yulia Tymoshenko working together to fight said Nazis in games of Mahjong, then I'll be completely sold.

For those who don't get the reference: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manga/TheLegendOfKoizumi?from=Main.TheLegendOfKoizumi

Also, is that Sarah Palin? If so, I'll give it a chance.

I like it when people post quotes from TV tropes to make themselves look smart.

It does appear to be some sort of fictional representation of her.

BUMP. Does anyone else realize that it's now been two weeks since this movie was supposed to come out and that there's still no sign of it?

It has been released in European countries only, as far as I know.

Yep. Looking forward to the German reviews.

Crappy in a bad sense. Just bad dialogues and a stupid plot. Not the entertaining kind of crappy.

It looks so incredibly retarded that it might be fun.

11 February 2012 (Berlinale)
4 April 2012 (Finland)
5 April 2012 (Germany)
19 April 2012 (Denmark)

"was released to theaters in Finland, Germany and other European countries in April 2012."

WELL I DON'T HAVE IT!

I am however going to Germany next week so if i see it i will go and watch it in German and have no idea what is happening.

Doesn't even look like it has a US date set.

This is one of those movies that I don't care if it is retarded or not. Sometimes bad is good when it comes to certain types of movies.

Saw it. Not spoiling anything.

Considering that this was made primarily by dudes who had no experience with big productions, it's pretty damn decent. In some departments, such as effects, it's even excelent. But it has a few serious flaws.

Stephanie Paul as Sarah Palin fucking kicked ass. Then again Christopher Kirby as a hero was crappy. Julia Dietze as a hot nazi officer chick was ok.

Two aspects I didn't like in the movie, were editing and the script. This is where their inexperience shows a bit, as they seemed rushed and unpolished.

But the movie was really funny. Not in a campy way, but as a real comedy, where the jokes are intended.

Let's give it 3 out of 5.
