This game looks fantastic; the new video has me pretty hyped. The references will definitely be great, and I'm just hoping that the gameplay is solid as well.

Probably will, being a RPG i imagine you input your own name, i doubt there is the capabilities for them to constantly recite it to you.

The wizard is Cartman. He asks for your name. You type it in.

"You entered 'Douchebag,'" Cartman says. "Correct?"

No matter what you say your name is, Cartman will call you Douchebag. This is the perfect way to bypass an annoying game design problem—voice acting player-entered names. Imagine if Final Fantasy X characters all just called Tidus "Douchebag." Instantly better game.

Is there a sidequest where you have to win in the special olympics?

Very excited about this game. I read the Game Informer that covered it and already fell in love with it then. The trailer just fueled the fire even more.

Interested in this one. Not sure why the game can't be released for Wii though.

Youtube's changed layout got rid of the old embed code option so all I can give now are links. New trailer for the game:

It sure does. It's cool that they didn't aim for a more harmless humor.

So apparently the game was overtaken by UbiSoft in the buyout.

UbiSoft is just publishing it though, right? I thought Obsidian was the developer so everything should be good. At least I hope everything will be good.

Matt and Trey are suing, claiming the contract they had with THQ didn't allow the game to be sold.

That a great idea. Let the failing bankrupt company keep the game so it can never get released and make a profit.

I believe they want the game so they can sell it to a publisher of their choice.

i would rather it get delayed & done right, vs having some shitty company rush the game out to get a quick buck

I think the game is already pretty much finished but I'm sure Ubisoft has plans to slap a game destroying DRM on the PC versions like they do with the rest of their titles. Hopefully the Steam version will be free of it.

Yeah, they probably would do that, the bastards.
