With the NES Challenges over, it's time to do some more collab projects. We're gonna jump right in with Castlevania IV for Super Nintendo! Of course by reading the title you got that.

For those who forgot, or those who are new, here's how it works.

- You sign up, giving an idea of how good you are and what stages you would like to do.
- Stages are assigned.
- The person with Stage 1 plays through and records their run. They then save a state at the end of the stage. They have 5 days to do this, otherwise the backup gets a chance. There are no restrictions on how you play as long as it's you playing, but please try not to lose more than 1 or 2 lives at most.
- That person sends a copy of the save state to myself (usasatsui^gmail.com) and to the person who has the next stage. The process continues from there until the game is beat. Meanwhile, the player has 5 days to turn the recording into a video file and upload it to the SydlexiaCollab YouTube channel (ask me in PM or on the chat for the password).
-The backup of last resort will be NotSure. The emulator is ZSNES 1.51. The rom we are using is here: http://vimm.net/vault/?p=details&system=SNES&id=1636 , please do not use another version of the rom. If you are having any trouble with recording or converting a movie, just ask...it's actually very easy to do.

To sign up, please post in this thread that you want to participate, how good you are at the game (how far you can regularly get on no continues is a good gauge), and what if any stages you prefer. There are 12 levels, if more than 12 people show up, anyone after that will be assigned as a backup.

The first person to come up with a clever name for this collab gets preferred first choice of stage. How's that for meaningless incentive?

There's no set starting time, I'll begin in when people stop signing up for it.

We have 9 participants. I'd really like to get the full 12, but if I don't see any new names in a day or two, we'll make do with this.

Oh, and Thunderhorse has won the "pick a name" "contest"

One spot left. If it isn't taken by the time Fernin comes back from a trip, We'll just make it work.

For some reason I thought there were 12 levels in the game. There are only 11. So this works perfectly.

Level assignments are up. The person in brackets in the backup in case the main person can't do it. Thunderhorse, you have 5 days to record your run ans send a save state (preferably right before the map pops up) to both me and MellowMeek.

Also, since "dickgrab" is an old joke, I've changed the collab channel password. PM me or ask Lexy for the new one.

Savestate has been passed to MellowMeek. Not sure exactly when, so he gets 5 days from now.

Under "Dumping", use the fourth option for video, and check the first and third options for audio. That should do ya. Make sure "Pause Emu in Background" under options is unchecked.
