Unless you have been on hiatus, you have noticed some unique forum modifications.

These were a part of my campaign for the 2011 Forum Battle. Since not enough of you bastards voted for my team, I am out of the running, and we are left with an altered website.

I have created a list of the changes that were made. You can find it in the Sydapedia:

For a little while I am not planning on taking any changes down, however some alterations such as user name adjustments will be removed no later than the end of the last forum battle. I am not sure how Syd feels about the rest of the changes, but this would be the place to discuss what you all like, and what you don't enjoy.

If you want a change to be made, made permanent, or destroyed please say so here.

I will begin with the following:

I think that the changes are fun, even when they are only around for a few days or weeks. As long as they don't hurt anyone or make anyone upset, then I think they enhance this community.

I think that the following changes should be permanent:
* Klimbatize's post details background
* sidewaydriver's "Meow!" (This is by far my favorite change and I laugh every time I see it)
* joshwoodzy's button
* LordHuffnPuff's name image (Rainbow)

I think that the following changes should be removed after the forum battle:
* Any non-translucent forum post background
* All name changes (words only, not styles)

Unfortunately, other than appending to the start or end of a post, text modifications are outside of what I can do. I probably could make the random font thing happen for a block of text, but not for post-processed text. Blame PHPBB2, not me. I'll see what I can do in the future though... You gave me some creative ideas with this one.

I am not doing anymore solid backgrounds. All backgrounds must allow the forum row color to show through. I can change the color from green to white perhaps?

I created a camouflage generating action at home, and honestly it was a pain to create the action, so I just worked with the image I had. I can run the action later tonight if you like. Unless you like that I created. The new one doesn't look as "camo" ish but it does go between purple and black nicely.
