Centurian. It's brutal, it's graphic, it's bloody and it has the very attractive and sexy Olga Kurylenko in it. Oh...yes.

The Room (Movie) - Greatest movie ever! Go watch it right now!
The IT Crowd (Series) - British sitcom about two nerds and their tech-illiterate boss. Pretty funny. |
I watched the first 2 episodes of The IT Crowd, it wasn't bad but the laugh track is really preventing me from watching it any further.

Watched the first two "episodes" of this (the two-episode miniseries) and really enjoyed it. They did a great job setting up the series. Obviously I'm like 8 years behind everyone else here, but whatever. I'll be going through all 70+ episodes over the next couple months.

Lucky sonofagun. I'd give a lot to be able to watch that series again for the first time.

The episode that I think is titled "Ghost in the Machine" holds a special place to me. It's definitely not the best, but for pure nostalgia factor it might be my favorite X-Files episode.

I don't have Netfix, so I don't know if they have it, but The Good Guys was a buddy cop show on Fox that I really liked...which means it probably won't be renewed (like my other favorite Fox shows: Firefly, Greg the Bunny, Andy Richter Controls the Universe, The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.)
Damn you, Fox!!!

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm working my way through Battlestar Gallactica and its really good!
Mutants is another solid French zombie movie.
Cube 2 and Cube Zero are both pretty good. Cube is actually my favorite of the trilogy but its not streaming. They're all about people trapped in multiple trapped chambers that make up a giant cube.
Hanger is the most disgusting movie I've ever seen. I suggest you DON'T watch it unless you enjoy gore and shock value.
Strangers With Candy is one of my favorite old shows on Comedy Central. I think its only available for a few more days though. Its about a 40 year old high school drop-out who returns to high school after a life of drugs and prostitution.

Nice thread idea. I recently saw Kick-ass is streamable on there, and I second Under the Red Hood the fight scenes are very inventive and well done.

Great recommendation. The battle scenes were great, and there were a few times where I said "Oh shit" during fight scenes. I would have skipped over this if you hadn't suggested it.

Surprised no one else mentioned DOCTOR WHO! The whole new series, plus many of the old ones, are on there.
Hate how they sometimes remove movies, though. Watch Hackers, Falling Down, Mystery Science Theater 3000 (any episode), and Alien Apocalypse. Oh, speaking of apocalypses, A Boy and His Dog.
EDIT: Whoops, sorry, one guy did mention DW. You should still watch it. And Torchwood. And A Bit of Fry and Laurie, That Mitchell and Webb Look, Mr. Bean, Red Dwarf...pretty much any British show is awesome.

Watched "Ip Man" recently based on a recommendation, and it was really good. One of the better martial arts films I've seen. It's a Chinese film about Master Ip right before World War II. Master Ip was the guy who trained Bruce Lee.
Really great fight scenes, and a great story.

Watch Sherlock Holmes, the new BBC series. It's pretty awesome and different then the recent movie. Also, it's written by the head writer for Doctor Who, Steven Moffat (Blink, Empty Child), if you want to know the quality your getting.

I'm actually just now starting to watch Naruto. If you can get past the fact that the protagonist is an egotistical prick, it's not that bad.
