i have a palm pre (i know, i know, its a total chick phone... but it was free) and it only plays MP4's.

im sure there is software out there that would convert WMV's & what not to MP4's, but are there any in particular that anyone would recommend?

any free ones?

thanks

I use any video converter to transform .flv and .MP4 in .AVI, it's pretty efficient, and completely free.

itunes uses mp3's for music files instead of WMA. m4u is the ringtone file for an iphone. itunes /might/ convert movie files to mp4 since that is the video file type the iphone and ipod touch uses. i dont really keep any videos on my phone so i never use the converter if it has one. i can play around with it if you want and see what i can come up with.

Get dBPoweramp. It is the best music file converter and you can download codecs for any format you need.

Simply using an online converter and your problem will be solved. If you need to edit your video, I recommend VideoSolo Video Converter Ultimate which supports to convert more than 300 formats and has editing functional.

I love that somebody wrote a spambot to target 7 year old file converter threads.
