Syd, do you, by any chance, have any clue as to why this site seems to be getting downtime at random times? Have you contacted your sitehost?

Happened to me too, and it freaked me out.
I thought Apocalypse Genesis guy was right!!!! O.o

Dreamhost is usually fine. More often then not a site not being able to be reached is due to a problem with a major router somewhere between you and that router.

However, if Syd really wants to check into it, Dreamhost has a 100% uptime guarantee:

Aside from the official downtime listings, downtime and speed issues occur when a server reboots.

Listen Syd. There was like a whole hour where I had to play Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, smoke weed, and hang out with my roommate instead of posting here. How dare you force me to have fun. If this ever happens again I will never forgive you.
