Maybe that bomb exploding on his face, tossing him into a stage hazard ( ) might help with that.

From what I have seen they are usuing the game versions of the characters instead of the rebirth models.

Episode 2 is out today. Kano gets the fuck beat out of him. It's definitely shaping up to be an interesting web series. My only problem is that I'd wish the episodes were longer.

Thanks, Username, we need to get these episodes embedded, it just makes it easier for everyone else to watch them.
As for my opinions on this episode...
[SPOILER:13fa13fa55]Well, they really made me feel better about the show by adding a few levels in badass to Sonya . The fights (Well, fight) were also great, even though I got a little bit of "Hey that punch didn't frikkin land" on some of the action. All in all, this just keeps getting better and better [/SPOILER:13fa13fa55]

thats the first pic of the Avengers movie. more like a teaser, really.
Quote:
Production has commenced today in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated movie “Marvel’s The Avengers,” directed by Joss Whedon (“Serenity”) from a screenplay by Whedon. The film will continue principal photography in Cleveland, Ohio and New York City. Robert Downey, Jr. (“Iron Man,” “Iron Man 2”) returns as the iconic Tony Stark/Iron Man along with Chris Hemsworth (“Thor”) as Thor, Chris Evans (“Captain America: The First Avenger”) as Captain America, Jeremy Renner (“Thor,” “The Hurt Locker”) as Hawkeye, Mark Ruffalo (“The Kids Are Alright”) as Hulk, Scarlett Johansson (“Iron Man 2”) as Black Widow, Clark Gregg (“Iron Man,” “Thor”) as Agent Phil Coulson, and Samuel L. Jackson (“Iron Man,” “Iron Man 2”) as Nick Fury. Set for release in the US on May 4, 2012, “Marvel’s The Avengers” is the first feature to be fully owned, marketed and distributed by Disney, which acquired Marvel in 2009.
Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in “Iron Man,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “Iron Man 2,” “Thor,” and “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Marvel’s The Avengers” is the super hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.

Embed of great justice!
And now, Spoiler tags!
[SPOILER:80b440ef9e]I wouldn't call adding Johnny Cage "starting to heat up" But all my hate for the character aside, that was a great episode Johnny really belongs in the villain's side, honestly, and I'll think it's great that they're gonna try and do that (I mean, they could easily back out of it, but I have high hopes for this show :3 ).
Also, Ed Boon cameo :O
Also also, Kitana and Mileena on the next episode :O :O[/SPOILER:80b440ef9e]

I was actually a little disappointed with this episode.
[SPOILER:40136703e4]The very end felt WAY TOO SILLY for me which is odd because it is a Mortal Kombat Series, but it just turned me off too it. The fight scenes with Johnny Cage were pretty good but that was about the only redeeming factor for me.[/SPOILER:40136703e4]

That was an awesome episode! Best one so far in my opinion.
[SPOILER:7b959c15e4]Johnny Cage is one of my all time favorite MK characters, and I think they did him justice. I loved the "True Hollywood Story" style intro, and I was so happy to see the splitting nutcracker make an appearance. I still woulda liked to have seen the shadow kick, though. I was so happy to see him whoop that asshole producer's ass at the end, too.
I don't think Shang Tsung is inviting him to the bad guy side, just inviting him to the tournament. If I remember correctly, Johnny has never been a bad guy, and his actions in this episode didn't seem to change that.
As for next week, I'm pretty excited to see Kitana and Mileena. I am pretty curious how they plan to Mileena's chompers.[/SPOILER:7b959c15e4]

Well, That is exactly what he is doing. If you remember right, Shang Tsung is the host of the Mortal Kombat tournament held in Earthrealm. This specific tournament would decide the fate of Earthrealm. As we all know, Liu Kang wins mortal kombat, defeats Goro and Shang Tsung and and Shao Kahn, emperor of Outworld get's really fuckin' pissed.
Right before Shao Kahn kills Shang Tsung, Tsung proposes a plan to hold a tournament in Outworld that if Earthrealm won...Shao Kanh would no longer try to tamper with Earthrealm for the rest of eternity.....Well...Earthrealm wins...Liu defeats Shao Kahn and Outworld loses. Kahn get's pissed and decides to invade Earthrealm anyway with the help of Quan Chi.....so on and so forth.....blah...blah..blah...
