you make this sound like it's a life affirming thing that you are doing. was there an intervention? |
That sounds like a pretty good opening to the podcast, a WoW intervention episode.

Your articles will give you a great base to start with on the podcasts while you write and come up with new ideas. I think a podcast is a great idea!

This topic and listening to various podcasts makes me want to make one. I am curious what goes into making one and it not being shitty,.

Considering the shit I got for opening the account, I figured everyone would agree that it was. I haven't wound up deactivating it yet anyway, but at this point I'm raiding twice a week and that's all I'm really playing.

The way I recall it, Jeebus, I was the only one who jeered you for opening a WOW account. Everyone else was like "Yeah! Cool!"

I'd be down for some sort of segment. Not sure how this would work though.

I think that you should allow a few forum members in on it occasionally, like one-two a month so you don't kill it, and don't make it so long. I don't want to listen to Jeebus go on and on about MtG (love you!) or someone going on about Attack of the Killer Lesbian Nazi Hookers 7 for an hour.

The way I have seen this done in the past. Is where like Syd would be the main host, and others would be like side guests/co-hosts. Syd would bring up a question for discussion comments would bounce around. Syd would wrap it up and then pose the next question/topic. That way the conversation doesn't get "Taken over by one person" or side tracked. Sometimes it happens and it's good. Just turns out there's a lot to say and the other planned discussion topics need to get pushed to another podcast.
